Anti-Transparent Yarn
Overview
Anti-Transparent Yarn is a functional textile raw material developed specifically for lightweight sheer fabrics. By incorporating non-toxic and harmless TiO₂ additive, this yarn delivers far superior light-blocking performance compared with conventional fibers. It fundamentally solves the see-through issue of thin garments while offering varying levels of anti-UV performance, making it a core base material for current opaque and UV-protective fabrics.
Raw Material & Craft Advantage
The Anti-Transparent Yarn we adopt contains 13%–14% titanium dioxide (TiO₂), around three times the dosage used in conventional delustered fibers. This delivers outstanding inherent opacity at the yarn stage without relying on post-finishing treatments for light-blocking performance. Its opaque property is embedded inside the fiber structure instead of coated onto the fabric surface, so the anti-see-through function never fades no matter how many times the garment is laundered. Permanently built-in opacity guarantees reliable long-term coverage.
Core Functional Features
Lightweight & Opaque
Blended with high-count cotton yarn and opaque yarn, the fabric features soft fine texture, lightweight yet fully non-see-through despite thin gauge.
Breathable & Comfortable
High-density construction avoids airtightness and retains excellent moisture-wicking & air permeability, eliminating the stuffy drawback of conventional opaque fabrics.
Wash-resistant & Durable
Built-in opacity from the base yarn with inherent UV protection; properties stay intact after repeated washes.
Main Application Scenarios
Anti-transparent yarn is widely applied in various apparel categories including blouses, sun-protective wear, dresses and casual sportswear, serving as an essential functional raw material for lightweight non-sheer textiles.
