A: Not at all. We specifically engineered this blend to avoid the "wet towel" effect of high-cotton fabrics. By keeping the polyester content at a dominant 80%, the core structure remains highly hydrophobic. The 11% cotton and 3% rayon are intimate-blended into the yarn rather than woven as separate threads. This allows the fabric to pull sweat away from your skin immediately (using the hydrophilic nature of cotton/rayon) and then rapidly disperse it across the outer polyester surface to evaporate. You get the dry-touch performance of a technical synthetic with the non-clingy, cozy wearability of natural fibers.

A: We use high-gauge, heat-set spandex fibers that provide a robust 4-way stretch with excellent modular recovery. Cheap stretch fabrics often suffer from "elastane fatigue" after repeated washing, leading to sagging. Thanks to our stabilization process during finishing, this fabric maintains a high recovery rate (over 92% recovery after maximum extension). It holds its shape and keeps garments looking tailored and functional, even after days of continuous trekking.

A: Yes, the fabric is supplied with a standard, eco-friendly C0 (PFC-free) DWR treatment that easily sheds light rain, dew, and snow. Because polyester is the primary component (80%), the fibers accept chemical finishes exceptionally well. If your brand requires specific technical coatings-such as UV protection (UPF 50+), anti-microbial/odor-resistant treatments, or heavy-duty Teflon stain resistance-the textile base is highly receptive to these secondary finishes during the dyeing process.

A: It is incredibly low-maintenance. The dominant polyester composition acts as an anchor, limiting overall shrinkage to less than 2% in both warp and weft directions under standard washing cycles. We recommend machine washing cold (30°C) with like colors, avoiding fabric softeners (which can clog the breathable channels of the hybrid blend), and tumble drying on low or hanging dry. It is also naturally wrinkle-resistant, saving you the hassle of pressing before hitting the trail or after packing.
